Starting next week, prom tickets will go on sale during lunches for $40 a person. Prom this year has been moved to the Holiday Inn in Viera, right behind Chick-Fil-A on Wickham Road. Seniors will be able to purchase tickets starting the first week, April 6-10. Juniors will be able to purchase tickets the following week, April 13-17. With the smaller venue there will be a limit placed on number of tickets we will be able to sell. The maximum tickets we can sell is 600, this is the amount we have usually sold in the past. The purpose of allowing seniors a full week to buy their tickets before the juniors is to ensure that any senior who wishes to attend will have the first opportunity to do so.
This past Tuesday, 49 band and color guard students attended the Florida Bandmasters’ Association State Solo and Ensemble Music Performance Assessment. The students performed very well earning many individual and group “Superior” ratings. Well done!
