Chess Club

Chess Club meets every Monday (beginning 11/14), from 3:45-5:00 in Ms. Granatosky’s Room 4-230.

Academic Team meetings

The Academic Team meets every Monday and Wednesday after school in Room 3-218 until 4:20 p.m.

French Club

If you’ve always wanted to learn the French language and about French culture, this is your chance!  The French Club meets every other week on Wednesdays in room 4-117 with club sponsor Madame MunozdeRivera.

Spanish Honor Society

The Spanish Honor Society offers student tutoring from 8 am – 8:30 am every Friday in the Media Center for any students taking any Spanish classes at Viera High School.  Students must bring a Spanish textbook, workbook or notes and be able to tell the student tutor what area of help is needed (example, conjugation of certain verbs or tenses, sentence structure, lack of knowledge of vocabulary, etc.)  The more information the student tutors have, the better help they will be able to provide.

Spanish Club

Meets every two weeks on Tuesdays from 8 – 8:30 am.  Students work on Spanish projects outside of the Spanish classes, participate in the yearly International event and learn about Spanish culture.  Club sponsors are Ms.  Booth, Ms. MunozdeRivera,  Ms. Piloto and Ms. Acevedo-Rodriguez.

Art Club and National Art Honor Society

Art Club & National Art Honor Society meetings are held on Tuesdays after school in room 4-122 at 3:35 with Dr. West and Mr. Cook.   Student may choose to paint murals, work on projects, art contests and exhibits.

Viera High Book Club

The book club meets every other Tuesday in the Media Center from 3:30-4:30.  New members welcome!

Recycling Club

The recycling team meets on Wednesdays in the Media Center from 3:30-4:30.  Earn service hours and new members welcome!
